Teresa Anderson 
Central District Health Department 

Teresa Anderson is the Health Director of Central District Health Department serving three counties and a population of 78,000 in central Nebraska. Ms. Anderson is a Public Health Clinical Nurse Specialist certified by the American Nurse Credentialing Council. She is an adjunct faculty member at Doane College in Grand Island. Ms. Anderson serves as President of the Nebraska Association of Local Health Directors as well as numerous committees involving state-local-School of Public Health liaisons. Currently, she is the lead in making the Heartland Health Center, a HRSA funded federal health center, operational by February 27, 2014. She also serves in a leadership role with the Hall County Community Collaborative, which operates on the principles of the Stanford model of Collective Impact.
