Joyce Eisel holds the position of Faculty and Chair of Health Care Management at Harris-Stowe State University, Anheuser-Busch School of Business. She previously held administrative and teaching positions at Central State University, OK and the University of Oklahoma School of Business. She received her doctorate, MS, and MA degrees from the University of Oklahoma and her BS from Mississippi State University.

Dr. Eisel has worked as an executive with several international healthcare corporations, including Haemonetics Corporation (headquartered in Switzerland) and Alpha Therapeutics (headquartered in Japan). She was responsible for launching the American Red Cross National Office of Tissue Transplantation. She was named as “Woman of the Year” in Wichita Falls, TX in recognition of her outstanding research in genetics. She serves on numerous academic committees (including the Accreditation Committee); partners with multiple community agencies; and is a member of the Coalition of Universities.

Dr. Eisel was invited by the Chinese government to serve as a keynote speaker at the 2015 Euro Asia Economic Forum in Xi’an, China and make a presentation on healthcare management. In addition to her numerous healthcare and business grants, contracts, presentations, and publications, she also enjoys editing journals and writing poetry.
